
Jennifer Brandt is an experienced attorney and mediator in commercial, family law and family business disputes. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New Jersey and before the Supreme Court of the United States. Jennifer serves on the New Jersey Superior Court Roster of approved commercial and family law mediators, as a mediator for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the New Jersey Bankruptcy Court and for Storm Sandy cases through the American Arbitration Association. She is a mediation mentor and trainer and has served as judge and mediator with the International Chamber of Commerce. As a speaker, Jennifer has presented to the New Jersey and New York Bar Associations, and internationally to bar associations, business and trade conclaves, law schools and courts throughout Brazil and India.
Internationally, Jennifer serves as Mediation Ambassador for the Foundation for Sustainable Rule of Law Initiatives (FSRI), a non-profit NGO which promotes, assesses and develops mediation programs and training of judges and attorneys in developing democracies throughout the world, including Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Georgia, India, Liberia and Rwanda. She combines her long- standing interest an international and cross-cultural dispute resolution with her professional experience in business, commercial and family law to forge a focus on mediation of internationalized family businesses.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and history, a Juris Doctor, and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations with a focus on international dispute resolution. Jennifer is IMI (International Mediation Institute) certified, Chair of the Committee that established IMI Qualified Assessment Program at the Institute for Dispute Resolution (IDR) at New Jersey City University, CEDR accredited, member of the CEDR Global Mediation Panel, and a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. She speaks English and French.
