Jennifer Brandt is an attorney and mediator specializing solely in mediation in a wide range of complex, high conflict cases including commercial, employment, family business, family law (divorce and custody), estate matters, and insurance disputes. Jennifer is a problem solver who facilitates finding creative solutions to amicably and economically resolve disputes, thereby enabling the parties to potentially maintain their business or family relationship.

Internationally, Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors and as Mediation Ambassador for the Foundation for Sustainable Rule of Law Initiatives (FSRI), a non-profit NGO which promotes, assesses and develops mediation programs and training of judges and attorneys in independent judiciaries globally, including Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, India and Republic of Georgia. She combines her long- standing interest in international and cross-cultural dispute resolution with her professional experience in business, commercial and family law to forge a focus on mediation of internationalized family businesses and international commercial disputes.
As a speaker, Jennifer has presented in the U.S. and internationally to bar associations, business and trade conclaves, law schools, Supreme and lower courts, and Ministries of Justice.  She teaches both civil and family mediation to graduate students and attorneys in the court annexed mediation certification programs.  Jennifer also serves as a judge and mediator at international commercial mediation competitions at the ICC in Paris, Hong Kong and India as well as at U.S. law schools. In addition to her private mediation practice, Jennifer is a court appointed mediator in both civil and family law with state and federal courts, including bankruptcy courts and with the American Arbitration Association.

Jennifer is a founding member of GMXC, the Global Mediation Exchange Center, which resolves international commercial disputes through a hybrid arbitration-mediation-arbitration process, thereby making consent awards binding throughout the world under the New York Convention.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and French, a Juris Doctor, and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations with a focus on international dispute resolution. Jennifer is IMI (International Mediation Institute) certified, CEDR accredited and a member of the CEDR Global Mediation Panel, and a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.
